This cheeky page should give you all the tools you need to visit the doctor in Austria as a citizen from another EU-country.
Requirements
The things you need to begin with.

- π³ your local health insurance card from your country
- π official document like you passport or drivers license

Then go ahead and type in: D O C T O R
Going to the doctor
- go there, by foot, bike, car, public transport, you’ll figure something
- search for the “Ordination”, that should be the right way and lead you to the counter with the friendly people registering you at the doctors place
- tell them you are not from “here”
- furiously wave around with you personal id or passport
- then hand it over as well as your health insurance card
- wait for them to enter your details
- next they should give you a paper document where you have to fill in your health insurance details - sign it
- give back the signed document
- move your body to the waiting room

- wait until they call you by your last name like your parents do
